Description

Product Overview: Premium Secondary Crushing Solution

The PF Series Impact Crusher is engineered for high-performance secondary and tertiary rock reduction following a primary jaw crusher. Capable of processing various ores and rocks with a compressive strength of up to 320 MPa, this industrial-grade impact crusher machine delivers exceptional production capacity and stable mechanical reliability.

Our heavy-duty hard rock impact crusher features an optimized multi-cavity design. The crushed end-product exhibits a perfect cubical shape with low needle/flake content and no internal micro-cracks. This superior particle shape makes it the premier choice for manufacturing high-quality aggregate used in high-grade highways, water conservancy projects, airports, and modern construction industries.

Key Features & Engineering Advantages

  • Adjustable Clearance & Precise Control: The clearance between the impact plates and blow bars can be easily adjusted, effectively controlling output particle size and guaranteeing an excellent cubical aggregate shape.

  • Keyless Connection & Premium Wear Parts: Utilizing heavy-duty keyless connections simplifies routine maintenance. Equipped with high-chromium blow bars, it provides strong impact resistance, superior wear resistance, and continuous crushing force.

  • High Crushing Ratio (Up to 40%): The large feed opening and high crushing chamber handle highly abrasive materials smoothly. It simplifies aggregate processing by converting traditional three-stage crushing into two-stage crushing, dramatically reducing equipment investment.

Working Principle

The PF Series Impact Crusher utilizes impact energy to shatter high-hardness materials. Driven by the electric motor, the high-inertia rotor rotates at high velocity.

As materials enter the crushing cavity from the feed opening, they encounter rapidly spinning high-chromium blow bars. The immense kinetic impact forces the materials to fracture along their natural cleavage planes and hurls them against the primary and secondary impact liners for successive reduction. After bouncing back from the impact curtains, aggregates undergo repeated crushing until their size falls below the adjustable clearance, ensuring a highly uniform, cubical-shaped particle output.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is an impact crusher used for?

An impact crusher is primary mining and quarry equipment utilized for secondary or tertiary crushing of medium-hard materials (such as limestone, concrete, or granite). It relies on rapid impact energy from high-chromium blow bars to break down materials along natural cleavage planes, producing highly cubical aggregate.

What is the difference between a jaw crusher and an impact crusher?

While a jaw crusher uses compressive force for primary/coarse crushing of massive rocks, an impact crusher machine utilizes high-speed impact forces for secondary reduction. Impact crushers deliver a much higher crushing ratio and significantly better final particle shape with low needle-like content.
